The first guided boat tours in Stockholm began way back in the 1930s. The boats sailed from the quay in front of the beautiful City Hall and the tours became popular with locals who wanted to see their city from the water and visiting tourists alike. Today¢s boats are thoroughly modernised and offer a variety of tours through the city¢s canals and locks. Modern technology enables us to offer daily guided tours in ten different languages, some of which are narrated by Sweden¢s most popular authors, writers and entertainers.
But some things never change. The classic mahogany beauty of the M/S Stegeholm still cruises gently along the more than 750 year-old waterways of Stockholm, and we can all still enjoy being on the water and taking a boat ride "Under the bridges of Stockholm".
Under the Bridges of Stockholm
If you¢re looking to see Stockholm from the water, this is the tour for you.
Step aboard and let us guide you to the most famous parts of the city.
We¢ll travel under fifteen bridges and pass through two locks connecting the Baltic Sea with Lake Mälaren.
We will pass many of the city¢s sights as we slide by the different parts of Stockholm. Outside the window you will see the inner city, the Old Town, the islands Södermalm, Lilla and Stora Essingen, the new area Hammarby Sjöstad and the green areas of Djurgården.
This boat tour is a perfect sightseeing trip when visiting Stockholm. Get a feel for the islands making Stockholm such a beauty on water. A truly beautiful and memorable tour!
Royal Canal Tour

Leaving the inner city behind, we¢ll pass beautiful and famous buildings as we enter the peaceful Djurgården canal. When we head home, a fabulous view of the Stockholm skyline opens up – only to be seen from the water!
Historical Canal Tour
A journey through Stockholm¢s past! We¢ll take you from the City Hall and around the second largest island, Kungsholmen.
