This stately building in Nyhavn, situated in the centre of the old Copenhagen, now bids welcome to all travellers who visit the city whether by land, sea, or air.
Situated beside canal and harbour with sorrounding picturesque well conserved buildings from 1676 in charming maritime athmosphere and within walking distance of most attractions in the centre og the city this former SeamanĘs Hostel offers a friendly home to all visitors.

The morning brings two pleasant surprises, the tasty continental breakfast and the moderate size of the bill. The prices are competitive as the tradition of the old SeamanĘs Hostel, and you feel the sincerity in the last greeting from the hall porter: See you again soon.
The explorer will find a small and beautiful seamanĘs church over the backyards behind the hostel. It is the only seamanĘs church in Denmark, and it was consecrated in 1952 in the presence of King Frederik IX, himself a sailor at heart. From October to April service is held twice the month, and everybody is welcome to attend.
